| In 2019 and 2020, the Netherlands is commemorating the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. One of the first events took place on 31 August in Terneuzen (Zeeland). King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the start of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of The Netherlands. The event is organised by the Province of Zeeland. |
