| On May 11, 2019, Queen Letizia of Spain attended Queen's Cup Final of Female Football, played between Atletico Madrid Women and Real Sociedad Women at Granada FC Stadium (Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes) in Granada. Spanish women football teams participate in Queen's Cup (Copa de Su Majestad la Reina) which is annually organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The Queen presented the cup to Real Sociedad players who beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 and became the champion. |
