(China Plus) A romance shot in Antarctica is set to hit Chinese theatres on Feb 2nd.
"Till the End of the World" sees Mark Chao reuniting with Yang Zishan who played his love interest in the 2013 film "So Young."
Discussing the 28-day shoot in difficult weather conditions, writer/director Wu Youyin says one of the biggest challenges was the often only having one chance to shoot a scene, given the conditions.
The film, adapted from Wu's novel of the same name, focuses on the love affair formed between a businessman and a scientist who find themselves trapped for 75 days during a snow storm.
Mark Chao rose to fame in China for his moving portrayal of Yehua in "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms," which is one of the highest-rated TV dramas in China in recent years.
