Queen Silvia of Sweden turned 80 today, on December 23, 2023. The Royal Court released two new official photos on the occasion of the birthday. Queen Silvia was given a surprise party by her granddaughters and grandsons, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, Princess Adrienne, Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel and Prince Julian, before the Queen's birthday on 23 December. The party took place at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The Queen was born in Heidelberg, Germany on 23 December 1943.
