Queen Silvia attended the opening of a Childhood-Haus at Frankfurt University Hospital. Hesse's Minister-President Boris Rhein also attended the opening ceremony. A Childhood-Haus (Barnahus) provides support and protection for abused children under one roof. A multi-professional team consisting of doctors, law enforcement officers, psychologists, social workers and others work together in the best interests of the children.
