Princess Ingrid Alexandra received her new bunad at the Royal Palace

When Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway turned 18 last January, the municipality of Nore og Uvdal gave a Bunad of her liking as a gift. Princess Ingrid Alexandra chose the Numedalsbunad. Mayor of Nore og Uvdal, Jan Gaute Bjerke, and seamstress Gunhild Aasen presented the bunad to Princess Ingrid Alexandra at the Royal Palace of Oslo. The Princess shared two photos showing herself wearing the gift bunad.
