On June 20, the Princess of Wales attended the reopening of the National Portrait Gallery in London following its extensive three-year refurbishment. As part of her visit, the Princess viewed an exhibition of portraits by Yevonde Middleton. The Princess' own 40th birthday portraits — which were temporarily shown in various venues around the U.K. during the renovation — will be permanently hung on the Gallery's walls. The Princess has been Patron of the National Portrait Gallery since 2012.
