On March 2, King Abdullah and Queen Rania, accompanied by Princess Ghida, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the King Hussein Cancer Centre’s (KHCC) King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Building in Aqaba. The building will provide medical care for cancer patients from the southern governorates, instead of having to head to Amman for proper care. Princess Ghida is chair of the board of trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
