On December 26, 2022, Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark attended the National Basketball League (NBL) round 12 match played between Tasmania Jackjumpers and New Zealand Breakers at MyState Bank Arena in Hobart. The Danish Crown Prince family is currently in Tasmania, where Crown Princess Mary was born, in order to spend Christmas holiday with Mary's family.
