The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) took place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Queen Sofía, the former Queen of Spain, attended the 2022 UN Climate Summit. In between attending the conference, Queen Sofía, accompanied by Saudi Arabia’s Princess Al Joharah, visited the Pyramids of Giza and The Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
