Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Öland Bridge (Ölandsbron) in Kalmar on September 30, 2022. The Öland Bridge was inaugurated on 30 September 1972. It is a road bridge connecting Kalmar on mainland Sweden to Färjestaden on the island of Öland to its east. The Bridge is one of the longest in all of Europe.
