On August 26, 2022, Princess Marie of Denmark visited the Tønder Music Festival in Tønder. Princess Marie has been Tønder Festival’s official patron since 2009. Tønder Music Festival began in 1974 and is now one of Northern Europe’s major international festivals for folk music. Tønder Festival takes place annually on the last full weekend in August. Princess Marie wore a new crepe wrap dress by Ganni.
