Belgian King and Queen visited the Panzi Hospital in Bukavu

On the last day of their visit to Congo, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde arrived in Bukavu, in east of Congo. The King and Queen visited the Panzi hospital, which, in addition to regular medical care, specializes in gynecological care for victims of rape and sexual violence. During the visit, they met with Dr. Denis Mukwege, Nobel Peace Prize awardee in 2018, who founded and works in Panzi Hospital.
