On May 20, 2022, Prince Constantijn of The Netherlands received honorary doctorate from the University of Twente in Enschede for his work for Techleap and Dutch entrepreneurs. Princess Laurentien and Princess Beatrix attended the ceremony. Every five years, the University of Twente awards honorary doctorates to people who make a valuable contribution to science and society.
