On March 17, 2022, Japanese Princess Aiko (Princess Toshi) held a press conference at the Imperial Palace on the occasion her coming-of-age 20th birthday. The princess turned 20 last December. Imperial Family members usually hold a press conference when they reach the age of majority. The press conference had been postponed for 3 months to Gakushuin University's spring break in consideration for the studies of the Princess.
