On February 17, Queen Sofía attended the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Inigo Alvarez de Toledo Renal Foundation held on the occasion of its 40th anniversary and its scientific awards at the Rosewood Villa Magna Hotel in Madrid. The Foundation was established on February 15, 1982 with the aim of bringing treatment closer to patients and helping them receive comprehensive care.
