The Nobel Prize ceremony took place at Stockholm City Hall on 10 December, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel’s death. Swedish Royals, including King Carl XVI Gustav, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, were present at the ceremony. The Nobel Prize in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and the prize in economic sciences were awarded to the Nobel Prize laureates during the ceremony.
