On December 22, 2021, the traditional Christmas photos of King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus were released. The photo shoot took place in the Bygdøy Royal Estate on the Bygdøy peninsula in Oslo. This year, King Harald and Queen Sonja will be with their children and grandchildren at Skaugum on Christmas Eve. On December 24, the Crown Prince family will attend Christmas Service in Asker Church.
