On November 13, 2021, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the premiere of the opera "Partenope" at the Royal Theater in Madrid. The opera by George Frideric Handel is performed in three acts and is a coproduction of the English National Opera, San Francisco Opera and Opera Australia. 9 performances of "Partenope", which is a work in which Handel creates a mix between serious and comic opera, will be offered between November 13 and 23. The opera is being performed ffor the first time in a stage version in Spain.
