50 years ago, the starting shot was fired for the first "Princess Benedikte's Honorary Award Race" at Klampenborg Racecourse. This race, which is for amateur riders, celebrated its 50th anniversary yesterday. Princess Benedikte attended the event, and greeted all of the participants. The Princess presented the prize, which this year was a silver frame with the Princess' crowned monogram to winner Mikkel Johansen, who participated with the horse Frost. Princess Benedikte is Patron of the Danish Equestrian Federation.
