On September 12, 2021, Queen Mathilde of Belgium took part in the 41st edition of the Brussels' 20km Run at Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels. The running race has a distance of 20.1 km and has been held each year in Brussels since 1980. This year, the race allowed walkers as well as runners and the four hour duration of the run was extended to six hours.
