On August 21, 2021, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the Swedish Royal Rally (Svenska Kungsrallyt) on Öland. This year, the Swedish Royal Rally was held for the fourteenth time and celebrated its 25th anniversary. The biennial Royal Rally is an event focusing on old cars. The King arrived at the event field driving his Volvo PV60 car.
