Queen Margrethe of Denmark made a visit to the Faroe Islands aboard the Royal Yacht Dannebrog in her capacity as the Queen of the North Atlantic Islands. Yesterday, Tórshavn was the first place visited by the Queen in the Faroe Islands. The day began with an official reception and a visit to the government buildings in the old town of Tinganes. Afterwards, the Queen visited the Lagting and the City Stairs.
