On July 6, 2021, Queen Letizia of Spain attended a working meeting with executives of The Abertis Foundation and UNICEF Spain to address the projects that they jointly promote. Since 2017, the two organizations have joined forces through a strategic alliance which aims to promote actions that reduce child road accidents in countries such as Jamaica, the Philippines and Brazil. The Queen also visited an exhibition which marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of UNICEF.
