Queen Mathilde held a video conference with young people representing Belgium at the United Nations meetings. The video conference was about the importance of youth participation at the UN meetings. The participation of the young people as well as the topics they discussed at the UN meetings as a member of the Belgian delegation were discussed: women's and youth rights, sustainable development, the fight against climate change, COVID-19 and the role of young people in conflict management.
