On March 16, 2021, a meeting of Council of State was held online. Queen Margrethe, accompanied by Crown Prince Frederik, led the meeting from Christiansborg Castle. The ministers participated in the cabinet meeting virtually. This has never happened before in history and is due to the pandemic.
