On March 10, 2021, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the non-profit association (asbl) BENU Village Esch in Esch-sur-Alzette, a player in the socio-ecological circular economy. The ecovillage is an upcycling initiative, which aims to use as few new resources as possible. It is also a place of participation and integration, and rents space to professionals and start-ups responding to common ecological and social values.
