As honorary president of the Foundation for Help against Drug Addiction (FAD), Queen Letizia attended the Foundation's Board of Trustees meeting. The working meeting of Board of Trustees took place at the headquarters of FAD in Madrid. FAD is a private and apolitical nonprofit charity organization which is endowed with II category consultative status before United Nation´s Economic and Social Council. The main objective of FAD is to prevent drug use and other risk behaviors that impede or hinder young people's personal and social development.
