Princess Margriet of The Netherlands presented medals to four Red Cross volunteers together with the Chancellor of the Red Cross awards, Mrs. Lenie Dwarshuis-van de Beek. They symbolize six thousand volunteers who have contributed to the fight against the corona pandemic. The medal presentation ceremony took place in the Hague on National Volunteer Day. The Princess also gave a speech to thank the volunteers. Afterwards, the Princess spoke with the volunteers attending the ceremony.
