On November 19, 2020, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands made a working visit to MBO Utrecht. The Queen attended an online class and visited an education simulator at the MBO. The visit focused on the impact of the corona pandemic on education, internships and the well-being of teachers and students. MBO Utrecht is an educational organisation for secondary vocational education. MBO is the Dutch term (and abbreviation) for secondary vocational education.
