On October 22, Crown Princess Mary took part as president of the World Wide Fund for Nature Denmark (WWF) in the organization's presidium meeting that was held virtually. WWF Denmark works to protect threatened animal species and disseminate solutions that can ensure a better future for nature and the globe. In 1972, Prince Henrik took the initiative to establish WWF’s branch in Denmark and, until his death, The Prince was president of the organization.
