On September 23, 2020, the Swedish Royal Family, that is, King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria (via video call) and Princess Sofia attended Global Child Forum Partner Advisory Board Meeting at the Stockholm Royal Palace. The Global Child Forum’s partners get together once a year for a half-day meeting to discuss the challenges encountered by children all over the world and the role that may be played by the business world in addressing these challenges.
At that meeting, thought leaders and influencers from business, civil society, academia and government gather in order to spur action for social change around children’s rights. This year, the meeting focused on how Global Child Forum can increase it’s relevancy to the business world. The Global Child Forum is a Swedish non-profit foundation with headquarters in Stockholm. King Carl Gustaf is Honorary President of Global Child Forum.
