Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon visited six counties to meet with different people and hear about experiences they have had during the pandemic. Crown Princess Mette Marit took part in some parts of the visit programme. On September 16, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess visited Florø in Vestland county.
Mayor Ola Teigen gave a briefing on how people have coped with the pandemic in Kinn, and on volunteering activities in the municipality. Afterwards, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess met with representatives of voluntary organizations and initiatives and spoke about how they have dealt with this difficult period.
On September 15, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit met with teachers, students and staff from the education sector in Kristiansund, Møre and Romsdal counties and learned about how the corona pandemic has affected their activities.
Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit visited the Allanengen Primary School. The headmaster of the kindergarten accompanied the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess to the "Breathing Room" where they met five children and three teachers. The conversation was about the children’s everyday school life during the pandemic. The couple used the royal yacht “KS Norge” during the visit.
