Morning ladies, there's been a few new wardrobe additions to report on so I thought I'd share them with you today.
Starting with this gorgeous green maxi skirt that I've already worn & featured on the blog. It's the perfect addition for pairing with a pretty white top come the summer, not to mention a simple black camisole & even a denim jacket.
You may recall that I've also already worn my new off the shoulder knit the other day. As you know I love the 'off the shoulder' style & it's the perfect Spring/Summer addition when temperatures are a little cooler & is perfect for pairing with most items in our wardrobes. Whilst I've already worn it with skinny biker jeans, I'm also planning on teaming it with maxi skirts, shorts & also dressing it up with cigarette pants. I have made a slight alteration to the jumper though as there was a few stitches on the neckline that I wasn't that keen on, which I've unpicked & much prefer the way it now hangs.
Last summer I started wearing & not saving for best my white jeans & trousers & loved how versatile they were so when I spotted this simple knitted maxi skirt I just had to 'click the button'.
Now that we've moved to (hopefully) a warmer climate I also popped this simple sleeveless top into the order & it's perfect for pairing with the above knitted skirt. I wasn't overly keen on the button on the back so I've swapped this for a brass button I had in my sewing basket, which I think looks a lot more timeless & classic.
My final purchase was 'Bet' related - what can I say I just couldn't resist this fabric tote for a simple 'throw it all' in kind of bag.
I've also ordered the above iron on sequin patch, that hasn't arrived yet, but the plan is to iron & sew this onto the above tote to make it more individual but I'll make the final decision once it arrives.
Back to today & it's all about easy summer style with a simple maxi dress - gosh I bet I'm not the only one desperate to get their haircut, my fringe is starting to drive me a little crazy but hey I'd rather that than as I saw somewhere the other day - better that than be desperately ill & fighting this dreadful virus!
