| Today, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden celebrates his 74th birthday. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the traditional celebration of the King's birthday at the royal palace's courtyard, to be attended by the Armed Forces and public, was cancelled. Instead, a smaller ceremony was held by the Chief of Staff at the Royal Palace - and of course there was a salute at 13.00 from Skeppsholmen. |
