The Countess of Wessex visited the University of Surrey

On January 29, 2020, The Countess of Wessex officially opened a new Health Sciences Institute at the University of Surrey. During the opening ceremony, the Countess met with university staff and students who will benefit from the new facilities. The building is named after Kate Granger MBE, a NHS doctor who led the "hellomynameis" campaign which aims to promote healthcare staff to establish a personal connection with patients for the purpose of gaining better health outcomes.
