| On January 27, 2020, Japanese Princess Kako attended the 42nd Meeting to Honor Mothers Who Raised Hearing Impaired Children, held at Kensei Kinenkan Hall (Parliamentary Museum) in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Crown Princess Kiko used to attend this meeting held every year. Princess Kako started to accompany her in 2014. This year, Princess Kako attended the meeting without her mother. Like her mother Princess Kiko, Princess Kako is fluent in sign language, attending events to support the deaf. |
