| On December 12, 2019, Queen Sonja of Norway visited Bredtveit Women’s Prison and Detention Center in Oslo. The prison is one of four prisons in Norway with only female prisoners. Bredtveit prison is located in the Bjerke district of Groruddalen in Oslo. During Queen Sonja's first visit to Bredtveit women's prison, she met with the prison's management, staff and some of the inmates. |
