| On December 16, 2019, Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands attended a symposium held on the occasion of Kingdom Day at the Council of State in The Hague. The symposium is dedicated to 65 years of Statute for the Kingdom. Koninkrijksdag (Kingdom Day) is the commemoration of the signing of the Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 15 December 1954 in Aruba, Curaçao, the Netherlands, and Sint Maarten. When 15 December falls on a Sunday, the commemoration takes place on Monday 16 December. |
