| On November 8, 2019, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the 16th congress of the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (ASALE) at the Cartuja Center Cite in Seville. The congress took place between November 4 - 8 and the Nobel Prize winner Mario Vargas Llosa also attended the congress. The Association of Academies of the Spanish Language is an organization which works for the unity, integrity, and growth of the Spanish language, and it was founded in Mexico in 1951 and represents the union of all the separate academies in the Spanish-speaking world. |
