| On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, the Swedish Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign started. For the eleventh year in a row, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden became the patron of the campaign, which will continue during the month of October. The Pink Band campaign aims to fight breast cancer by funding cancer research, spreading knowledge about the disease and raising public awareness.
