| Queen Silvia is currently making a 3 day working visit to the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg in Southwestern Germany. On September 3, 2019, The Queen visited the Isle of Mainau (Konstanz). The visit is made on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Mentor Foundation for Young People, which Queen Silvia co-founded in Geneva in 1994. The foundation operates worldwide and is based on the Isle of Mainau. In the morning, Queen Silvia visited a Konstanz school and attended a Youth Summit organized by the Mentor Foundation. The Queen gave a speech at the summit. |
