| On September 25, 2019, Crown Princess Victora attended the naming ceremony of new research vessel Svea owned by Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The newly built Swedish vessel Svea will be used by SLU and the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) for a wide variety of environmental surveys, from monitoring ocean acidification to assessing fish stock. The ceremony was held in the ship's home port, at Gullmarskajen in Lysekil. The Crown Princess then visited the Institute of Marine Research. The Crown Princess wore a wool jacket by Andiata. |
