Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte greeted Graasten Ring Rider Parade

On July 21, 2019, Queen Margrethe II and Princess Benedikte greeted the Gråsten Ring Rider Association’s annual parade outside the gates of Graasten Palace. Gråsten Ringriderforening’s annual parade begins at Graasten Riding School and ends at Ringriderpladsen, where there is a traditional tilting at the ring competition. Afterwards, Queen Margrethe, Princess Benedikte, Princess Alexandra (Benedikte's oldest daughter) and Count Michael Preben Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille visited Graasten Castle Church to present a new messehagel to Graasten Castle Church. A messehagel is an overcoat used by the priest during the sacrament and at ecclesiastical celebrations.
