| On June 20, 2019, Dutch Queen Maxima visited Hoogeveen city within the scope of ‘’More music in the classroom’’ programme. The Queen attended a meeting at De Tamboer Theater in Drenthe and signed an agreement with local partners, which is related to giving more music education in schools. The agreement includes commitments on formalizing of music education to be given to children in all primary schools in Drenthe in the next years. The Queen is the honorary president of "More music in the classroom" (Meer Muziek in de Klas) programme. Afterwards, The Queen visited the mobile workshop of the Leerorkest Instrumentendepot in Hoogeveen. |
