On May 16, 2019, Dutch Queen Maxima opened the new Feadship yard in the port of Amsterdam. Feadship is a cooperative venture between Royal Van Lent Shipyard and Royal De Vries Shipyard. The new facility was opened as part of celebrations of the 170th anniversary of Royal Van Lent, which can trace its roots on De Kaag back to 1849. During her visit to the new Feadship yard, Queen Máxima was shown a selection of classic yachts that are part of the Feadship Heritage Fleet. A short presentation on the history of Royal Van Lent was also given to The Queen.
