The Countess of Wessex's visit to Hyderabad, India, 1st day

The Countess of Wessex is currently in India to see how programmes supported by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust are tackling avoidable blindness in babies born prematurely in India. The visit of The Countess will last for 5 days. On the first day of her visit to India, The Countess visited Gandhi Medical College and Hospital to learn more about retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) which is a potentially avoidable eye condition that affects premature babies.
