| On March 6, 2019, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the seaside town Blackpool and there, they visited investment and regeneration projects being overseen by Blackpool council. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge firstly visited the iconic Blackpool Tower. The Duke and Duchess attended a roundtable briefing about the town’s recent history, the challenges, and the investment and regeneration efforts that are currently underway.
