| On January 21, Monday, King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria attended the cabinet meeting held at the Royal Palace. In Sweden, after the elections, a coalition government established under the prime ministry of Stefan Löfven received a vote of confidence at Sweden's parliament. Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén presented the new government for the King and thereby the new government has officially taken office. After the cabinet meeting, The King hosted a cabinet lunch in Princess Sibylla's Apartments.
