| On December 18, 2018, The Duchess of Sussex visited the Royal Variety residential nursing and care home Brinsworth House in Twickenham. The Royal Variety Charity, of which The Queen is Patron, assists those who have worked professionally in the entertainment industry and are in need of help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times. Established in 1850, the residential home accommodates up to 36 residents who are cared for by a dedicated team of nurses and care assistants. |
